Anne Frank- Stage Adaption

The play starts (1945)when Mr. Frank goes to Meip's house to say good-bye because that place reminded him of his family, too much. He finds Anne's diary and starts to read it. He has flashbacks to when the Van Daans and his family hid in a basement. (1942) The Van Daans and Franks couldn't move around, in the daytime because the green police were around working 'till six pm. When the Franks had left they made it appear as if it was abanded and left a note that they have left Germany. The jews had to wear the star of David which made it easier for Nazis to identify them. They had to wrip off their star of David and burn them. Peter Van Daan was agianst wearing the star of David as long as Hitler was around. Anne Frank felt kind of akward since she never minded wearing it. Mr. Frank gave Anne a diary for her thirteenth birthday. Later, on Mr. Dussel, a jewish dentist goes to live with the Franks and Van Daans. Two years later (1944), they have food problems and find out Mr. Van Daan has been stealing food for two years, with the excuse of being hungry. In which all of them were by that point. The green police finds them because of a theif that stole a radio and told them where they were hidden. They were all taken to consintration camps. Anne and Margot both died of typhus. The Van Daans and Ms. Frank die in a consintration camp a well. Mr. Frank was the only surviver.
